Property and project documents
This is an example of a custom application for teams that already keep property and project facts in spreadsheets and specifications. The draft follows an approved template. A figure appears only when a supplied source supports it. The team still chooses which template is approved and which source file is current.
What goes in
Supplied spreadsheets, specifications, approved document templates, and the rules for which figures are allowed into a finished document.
What the engine does
- Read the supplied files and the approved template.
- Place a figure only where a source cell, specification, or note supports it.
- Mark any field that has no source instead of filling it in.
- Assemble the draft in the template the team already uses.
What your team receives
A draft property description or project document. Each figure stays tied to its source, and missing information is listed for a person to resolve before the document is used. The application does not invent a figure when the spreadsheet or specification is silent.
